Today Clair and I went to nyc to visit colleges, drink coffee and just shop around and do fun things. After taking a tour of NYU, we waited around in Washington Square Garden where, much to our surprise and confusion, everyone came wearing pj's and holding pillows for Pillow Fight Day, an annual event where everyone gathers in Washington Square to bash each other with pillows and have some good old fashioned violent fun. It was actually madness. Pillows flew through the air, pj's were ruined, and fluffy down rained down from the sky like some bizarre snow storm. As they say, only in New York City.
